Autechre in the studio (2004)

I've been interested in how autechre produces their music for some time and went poking around the internet for articles on their process.  Found this reasonably detailed article from Sound On Sound that goes back to 2004.

Very curious about their use of MAX/MSP but I love the quote "The worst things are the timeline sequencers where you can see on the screen what's coming up. That really f**ks with your head when you're listening." It makes me want to get off the computer to start playing with hardware.
